Caspar Fransson´s Marvellous World
Fourteen-year-old Caspar Fransson moves with his family to the small town of Viksvalla in Sweden. Filijokus is utterly fed up with constantly moving and having to change schools because of his mom’s ridiculous archaeology projects. But nothin in Viksvalla turns out as he expected. Caspar realizes he is part of a gran, marvellous puzzle and finds himself caught up in an adventure of life and death. A young adult novel that captivates adults as well.

The amazing Agneta Wallner! Our childhood town of Hudiksvall, called Viksvalla, is portrayed in Caspar Fransson’s Marvellous World, an exciting young adult novel. A fantastic story with adventures in both present day and the Viking era. It’s also a multifaceted tale about the fear of abandonment and the longing for love and belonging. A book that everyone should read.
We’ve just finished reading the amazing book about Molly and the Peculiar Miss Saga Bloom. Astrid and I give it a 10 out of 10. Wow, what a book! Astrid has two older sisters who usually read to her in the evenings, but after I read the first chapter to her as her mom, I was hooked. We decided that only the two of us would read it together because we thought it was so good! The best time of day is when Edwin, 11, and I cuddle up in his bed and read Molly and the Peculiar Miss Saga Bloom. Each chapter is like an adventure, a wonderful world we’re transported into. We laugh out loud and marvel at her antics. A magical book.
